Amazon Web Services is performing a series of mandatory system restarts.

These restarts begin today and continuing into next week. We expect zero downtime during these restarts. All of our systems are running in multiple redundant Availability Zones, and are designed to gracefully tolerate the loss of an entire availability zone.

Our first batch of server restarts has already completed without incident. While we expect the remaining to go smoothly, we remain on-call to closely monitor all system restarts until they have been completed.
